Pitbull Humor
Unless you have been living in a cave somewhere, you are already probably familiar with the negative attention Staffordshire Terriers, a.k.a Pit Bulls, have gotten over the years. Now we cannot ignore that there have been attacks by Pit Bulls but then again there have been attacks by other types dogs as well. Many dogs that attack come from a bad upbringing so the real question is whether or not the breed of dog is bad or the influence from a bad owner.
Our goal is to observe one of these creatures and scientifically prove that they are either good or evil. The subject matter in our research is a nine year old female Pit Bull that was adopted at about six months of age. We have carefully observed this creature over the years and posted our scientific findings below.
Exhibit A - Deception
Although this may appear to be an innocent gathering, the poor little kitten is clearly deceived. Pit Bulls are very cleaver and sneaky creatures that like to deceive their prey before the attack.
The little kitten may survive this day but rest assured one, two, five years down the road she will be caught off guard and eaten (pits are patient like that).
Exhibit B - Cute Decoy
This technique is more commonly known as “hey I’m cute, so come over here and pet me so that I can eat you”. Although the Pit Bull may appear to be friendly, rest assured that she is only luring you into her sinister trap. Once you pet her on the head, you’ve had it.
Keep in mind that this is a difficult technique and takes years to master. If you see a puppy pit using this technique then he or she is actually being cute or really is an evil adult pit in disguised.
Exhibit C - Pit bulls love kids (they taste like chicken)
The third test was to see how Pit Bulls act around children. Now the Pit Bull in this particular test study has been around kids her entire life so we know she is ready to eat one any day now. This dog has even been spit on, dragged, hit, swung around and probably peed on since this kids existence. There was no doubt in our mind that she was ready to eat this kid.
Unfortunately as much as we tried to get the Pit Bull to eat the kid we to no avail had any success. Our only guess is that the dog was turned off by the kids obnoxiously red colored socks and avoided eating him on this particular day. The moral of the story is to wear brightly colored red socks when hanging around Pit Bulls.
Exhibit D - Pit Bulls like to steal cars
It has been estimated that 50% of all auto theft is attributed to Pit Bulls. As if eating people was not enough, these dogs have taken up arms and started one of the largest car theft rings in the nation.
This dog was caught red handed trying to steal a truck. Well it is the slammer for you missy!
Conclusion
To avoid jumping to conclusions over one case study we have taken upon ourselves to mingle with other owners of Pit Bulls. Now the owners of these animals had to be responsible, caring and loving individuals so that we could determine an accurate conclusion of the behavior of this breed. Low and behold all the other dogs showed very similar personality characteristics as the one in our study. These dogs love to eat children too, although we have yet to see one eat a child (we are still assuming the children are wearing red socks). They also like to go for rides in which we assume is a mastermind plan to later steal the car.

I agree my pit, who goes by the name Dingleberry, is the same way, vicious. He is so sneaky in fact that he will listen better to people smaller than he is (my 3 year old cousin) just to lure them into that false sense of security. Signs of his evil nature still lurk as he chases butterfly’s through the yard or when he gets his paw stuck in the draw string of a garbage bag.

Love it, Love it, Love it. I wished the news would publish something like this.
The worst that my baby Bowzer would do is knock you over, lick you to death, or beat you with his tail.
Anyone who says anything negative about pits has never been around one.

nobody understands. i really dont think that this kind of stuff is going to change peoples opinions on pit bulls. if its not said on the news. than its not true. in my opinion pits are the best dog anyone can have. they are so sweet, all they do is want to cuddle. ive had 3 different pit bulls and they were all the best dogs ive ever had, and the nicest. they are amazing animals. if people want pit attacks to uit haapening. maybe they should do some kind of interveiw with the animal owner, they are who make pits mean.

My Pit is Reba and she is just the biggest softie in the world.
She’s an 85 lb lap dog who just loves playing with the kids and sleeping at my feet on the bed at night.
It really hurts me when people look at her with fear in their eyes. Her exterior may look intimidating but if you look into her eyes you can see her kind, gentle soul.
Our family wouldn’t be complete without her.

This is wrong on so many different levels. If you train your pitbull right, they won’t try to eat you. They aren’t even the most aggresive dog. I believe that you should own a pitbull and train it while it is a puppy before you say this. I had a rednosed pit and he loved people. He wouldn’t dream of hurting a human. He turned on one of our dogs but all dogs fight and it isn’t just pitbulls. If I ever had the chance to own another pitbull, I would because I absolutely love pitbulls. !!
Thank You,

I am so happy that someone put up a website to show the lighter side of pit bulls! My husband and I got a laugh out of this website and the pictures are just too cute! We too have owned pit bulls and had noticed their tendencies to attack innocent kittens, eat children, and contemplate stealing cars! Thank you so much for putting up this website! My cousin was attacked by the brittany spaniel they’d had since he was a puppy, and my two pit bulls never attacked a soul!

i have a pit/lab cross named Tess and i love her to death. when i first met my bf and he told me he owned a pitbull i was terrified to meet her. i guess i would say i listened to too many stories from the news and other people. when i finally met her i was so surprised. i was pinned to the ground and covered in drool in a matter of seconds. i guess you could call it love at first sight. i can’t believe the ignorance the media and people have towards this breed. ITS SIMPLE, TREAT THE DOG WITH RESPECT AND LOVE IT DESERVES, AND GEE YOU GET A NICE DOG. any dog is capable of destructive behaviour when placed the in the hands of a cruel, unloving owner. its a shame that people simply can’t look past the teeth and see what they truely are, BEAUTIFUL CREATURES. you guys have done a great job incorperating humor into the situation, and i can only hope you continue to do so.

I wish our pitbull would eat my father-in-law’s stupid cat. That cat pees all over everything in the house, and pays no attention to the dangerous pitbull at all. You’d think the dog would get tired of being snubbed like that. Maybe some day.

People who say that Pits are aggrassive and mean are just stupid. I was raised around Pits my whole life, and never once have I been bitten, or seen them attack anybody. People in the world just need to get the facts straight.
1) Staffordshire Terriers (Pits) where once bred for dog fights. It’s in their DNA to fight. It’s the problem from so much inbreeding to get them they way they look and with that temperament. NOW, most Pits are loving and wouldn’t hurt anybody unless they meant the dog’s family harm.
2) Pits are naturally defensive, so when they DO attack people or other dogs, they where threatened. People go to court and say OH NO, I WAS JUST WALKING BY AND THE DOG ATTACKED ME. No, it did not. You antagonized it. Look up the research on Pit attacks. They hardley EVER attack for no reason.
3) A dog more aggressive and mean thanthe Pit, is the Akita. Do you see people going around protesting against Akitas? No, you don’t. People are just looking for an opportunity to show off how ignorant and stupid they are.
Other than the Akita, CHOWS are more prone to attacking people than Pits or Akitas. Raised around Pits my whole life, and the only dog that has EVER attacked me was a Chow.
I loved your website because it made a serious topic funny, while keeping it serious. People just need to get their facts straight and stop picking on Pits.

A lot of people are posting comments that pitbulls are nice if you treat them nice and a lot of people are posting that pitbulls are mean and dangerous!
I might get a baby pitbull that was just born:)
but i dont know if I should get it ??
The pitbull is getting trained by its owner on how to be nice and how too poo in the right place (lol)
So i think i should get it and treat it nicely so that it becomes nice
My brother also went to see the baby pitbulls at his friends house yesterday, and he said the dog didnt even try to bite him or be mean to him - he even held the baby pitbull
So now i wonder…should i GET IT or NOT

Great site. really liked it. We have a 1yr old pit rotty at about 100 pounds. When we got him we spent allot of loving time with him (in our arms, with us in bed, we even, from the time he was 8 weeks old, put our faces in the food bowl with him regularly, to teach him that he has to live with everybody in the house equally. We did this because he is a part of our family and that’s what you do when you have family kids or dogs. You spend time training them like reasonable and caring people. We are responsible for how our family acts. This dog even has two sibling dogs that are four years old, and get this, they are chow dingo mixed. Can you believe that? No one has killed anyone yet and I can’t afford all those red socks. I’m just going to have to be an upstanding citizen and do the right thing by my community. and that is do my very best to train myself and my family to not break laws (however unfair I might reason) or to hurt other people (however much I may deem necessary) that’s what people are not realizing about the pit bull controversy. We as people, have all the accountability, NOT the dogs, NOT the 8 yr old kids, but us as adults. I read a story from England years back, a rottwieler killed a small child, and I felt terrible. Then I was able to get the whole story, which I suspect is usually the case, things were not as they seem. The rotty was chained in the back yard, the 3 yr old had been walked out into the backyard for a year or two and never introduced to the dog as a member of the family. The dog was also not a member of the family as it was always penned up in the back yard. Therefore the real problem came when the girl was left out by herself and wandered into the dog’s cage. I hope, I don’t hear any more stories like that one. But the real issue is, will we as adults take responsibility for how we do or do not raise and nurture our families. Get this the chingos (chow dingos mix) play fight all the time, until we tell them to stop. Never and I mean never has it gone too far. Not to blow my own horn, but we worked very hard to get that type of control, it’s awesome. There is even a little 10 pound pug dog next door that bully’s our pit-bull (he’s mostly pit) Gus. He just rolls over and enjoys life, it’s a beautiful thing. My wife and I are very proud. thanks for reading

Super cute website! I have a sweet 3 yr old Pit Bull named Pepper. We got her when she was 9 wks old and is hands down the smartest dog we’ve ever had. Really, we all need to do as Warren and Ivis said and take the time to train our dogs, spend time with them, exercise them and LOVE them all of their lives. My pit Pepper grew up in a house where she was around infants, small children, strangers, small dogs, big dogs, cats, horses, elk, ducks, elk… you name it, and because of that - I think it made her the cool dog she is. She loves kids and loves other dogs. My 2 yr old neice grew up around Pepper and would crawl all over her, sit on her back and pull on her ears, she would take her balls and treats from her - and never once would Pepper ever get agressive. She was always congnitive that it was just small child pestering her and to be gentle. It’s pretty darn cool feeling knowing that you’ve raised such a wonderful dog and it’s one less pit bull out there with a bad rap.

I love pitbulls, I train military police dogs; but you’re an idiot. “How you raise them” doesn’t change 150 years of breeding; and leaving them unattended with a small child is a display of your ignorance regarding how the dog’s mind works.

Mick,
Are you saying that pitbulls were bred to be aggressive towards humans? If you believe that then you obviously have no idea about the history of this breed. With over 13 years of owning these dogs my two pits are as loving and as kind as any other dog we’ve had (pekingese, etc).
